St Peter's Church, Greatworth dates from the 13th century, and has undergone extensive repair and restoration work over the last 15 years. The bell frame was replaced and the new six bell peal commissioned in 2005, so there is regular bellringing at Greatworth. St Peter's Church has good links with the Methodist Church in Greatworth.
The church has as its main fund-raising events the annual Church Fete, and also a popular art exhibition, which runs every two years.
